Vending Smart LLC was founded by Staci Harrison who is a Kansas City-based entrepreneur, former international model, and lifelong businesswoman. After two decades watching every kind of property get stuck with the same tired vending machine in the same forgotten corner she knew there was a better way.
After years of building and operating brands across fashion, hospitality, and consumer goods, Staci launched Vending Smart with a simple premise: bring the state-of-the-art AI smart cooler experience to every Kansas City property and treat every install like a boutique retail launch instead of a vending swap.
Today, the company places premium AI smart coolers and full micro-markets in offices, warehouses, apartments, gyms, clinics, and community spaces across the metro on both sides of the state line with intentional focus on underserved KC neighborhoods where 24/7 access to fresh food, drinks, and essentials is still hard to come by. Every install is locally serviced. Every product mix is curated. Every dollar gets reinvested into the city.

Vending Smart exists to expand on-demand access to fresh food, beverages, and essential goods across the Kansas City metro — including the underserved neighborhoods historically overlooked by national vending operators. We invest in the infrastructure (the coolers, the technology, the daily restocking) so that property owners, employers, and community partners can offer a premium 24/7 amenity at zero cost to their budget.
